We're looking for an Infrastructure & Security Engineer.


Salary: €65k-€80k/year
Location: Remote (Portugal, Austria, Czechia, Hungary, Latvia, Poland, Spain)


What You’ll Do

As an Infrastructure & Security Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in elevating the team’s security posture while supporting a hybrid infrastructure environment. You will:

  • Implement and manage security tools (e.g., DefectDojo) for vulnerability detection and alerting

  • Automate vulnerability scanning and response processes across infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines

  • Collaborate on the design and deployment of intrusion detection and prevention (IDP) strategies

  • Assist in identity and access management (IAM), secure networking, and cloud security initiatives

  • Support data center operations including server, networking, and storage management

  • Guide and educate developers on application security practices such as threat modeling and secure coding

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of platform security, including compliance efforts like ISO 27001

 

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Skills

  • Relevant eperience as an infrastructure engineering or DevSecOps roles

  • Proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform, IAM practices

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, or CircleCI)

  • Knowledge of vulnerability management (SAST, DAST tools)

  • Solid understanding of network security, including firewalls and Cloudflare setup

  • Comfortable working in self-hosted environments (non-cloud-first)

 

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Background in Application Security (code reviews, threat modeling, pen testing)

  • Experience with Helm, Argo CD, or Ansible

  • Knowledge of ISO 27001 implementation

  • Strong familiarity with Linux system administration and secure infrastructure practices
